A Look Around

A look around in my dorm room and what I am reminded of:

Two racing singlets from High School - dedication, hard work, motivation

Racing numbers from collegiate races - memories, strength, perseverance

Pictures of my family - love, home, joy

Pictures of friends - togetherness, laughter, kindness

New York Jets poster - victory, celebration

LOST poster - destiny, faith, growth

It is important to hold true to the things that mean the most to you. Your surroundings can truly say a lot about you. It is a reminder to not only treasure your possessions, but treasure your relationships with others.

Hold onto your memories and strive to meet new people are create new memories!

"...it seems to me that the best relationships—the ones that last—are frequently the ones that are rooted in friendship. You know, one day you look at the person and you see something more that you did the night before. Like a switch has been flicked somewhere. And the person who was just a friend is...suddenly the only person you can ever imagine yourself with."
