What Is Wrong With You

You want to know what is wrong with you? I will tell you what is wrong with you.

Your belief that other people can fix your problems and not yourself is what is wrong with you.

Your belief that the world that surrounds you is the reason for your problems is what is wrong with you.

Your belief that someone else is the reason why you are miserable is what is wrong with you.

You don't know how to blame yourself is what is wrong with you.

Or, how about your belief that no one even understands you. That is something that is wrong with you.

Stop. It is time you look at yourself and realize that you should quit blaming others for your mistakes. You are who you are because of you. Yes, your surrounding environment can have both positive and negative influences on you. But, it is how you react to each positive or negative influence that creates who you are.

It is never too late to change who you are. It is never too late to realize that, yes, sometimes it is your own fault.

When all is said and done, all roads lead to the same place. So, it really is not about which road you take, but how you take it. Learn now that there are many people that think that only others are the inception of their troubles. Don't be one of those people.

Not many people ask for the life that they are given. But, that life is given none the less. And with it—you have the choice—whether or not you will do your best.

  2. Quite a lot of wisdom from one who is college student, Purple Otter. I wonder if it is human failing to always seek out another to blame? I know it is very hard to admit something is our own fault. Thanks for this message and for your adorable fish.
